Track Grid
The zoomed-in track view for notes, note fields, and component slots.
The track grid is a zoomed-in view of one playback track. It shows the full note lane and the component slots for that track.
Opening the track grid
Press Tab from the pattern grid to open the track grid for the current track.
You can also press Ctrl/Cmd + Select while the pattern grid is focused.
Track grid data
Note
The pitch or note event placed on the track.
Velocity
The velocity value associated with the note event.
Delay
A timing offset applied to the note event.
Instrument
The instrument number used by the note event.
Component Slots
Three sequenced slots that trigger component behaviour when the playhead reaches them.
Editing behaviour
The same editing commands used in the pattern grid also work in the track grid. This includes keyboard drag, cut, copy, paste, and delete.
Component slots are sequenced like notes. When the playhead reaches a step with a component, that component is triggered for the track.
