| Instrument state | A stored set of instrument parameter values. |
| Master track | The track that stores pattern-level data and master component slots. |
| Pattern grid | The main editing grid for notes and related event fields. |
| Playback track | A track that plays notes, components, and instrument events. |
| Track grid | A zoomed-in view of one playback track. |
